I was prepared to sell my 60GB PS3 to get this bundle. But it’s a 40GB PS3 … booo Konami. We want a 80GB PS3, oh, well. At least I have the MGS4 LE Game bundle pre-ordered.
If you want the bundle you can pre-order on Monday May 19th at Konami.com. Details below:
It comes with the Gun Metal Gray PLAYSTATION 3 system with a 40GB hard drive, the bundle also includes a matching DUALSHOCK 3 wireless controller.
The MGS4 LE game box contains: The Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots game, which includes Metal Gear Online, enabling you to take part in the ultimate multiplayer squad based tactical shooter. An exclusive Blu-ray disc including over 2 hours of additional content - “Hideo Kojima’s Gene”, a behind-the-scenes vision of Hideo Kojima’s production team & game and “The Making of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots” documentary. As well as, the official Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots CD Soundtrack, including 16 never-before-released tracks by Harry Gregson-Williams (Shrek, Armageddon, The Rock), Nobuko Toda, and Ennio Morricone.
If you pre-order the PS3 version you get a very cool bonus. Dead Zone on blu-ray! Pretty slick bonus if you ask me. It is limited, so get your pre-order at Gamestop asap.
Also the Demo is up on the PlayStation Store, it has two characters you can play. Give it a shot. The Kamehameha attack looks great in HD. The game is out June 10th.
The video below was created and uploaded to YouTube from within a PS3 game. This could have some great potential. Imagine a cool moment in a game that you wish you could have recorded and shared with your friends. Now you can if the game supports it. Right now only this game supports it at the moment.
I try not to think to much about Home. I don’t want to make the wait any more painful than it already is. But now Sony will be focusing on the “gaming” aspect of Home and not the advertising part of it. That should have been like that from the start …. oh well.
I was looking forward to seeing all the game spaces. Now that wait has become much longer. More people will be let into the closed beta in July, with a open beta in November. So good luck to everyone.
Somebody noticed something very interesting in a recent PSN video. Video downloads shown on the PlayStation Store. We knew this was coming, but maybe this is coming sooner than we think? It has options for NBC, HBO, the CW, Cartoon Network, MTV, and more. Some other things in the video are: “Click Start to Search”, “Click Square to Add to Cart”, “View Downloads”, and a Beta section.
But then again they showed the Home icon in PlayStation videos before and now that’s pushed back until November. So take this with a huge grain of salt.
I’ve played all the PS2 DBZ games but the last one. Just because it was pretty much the same thing every year. But I may try this out. I thought I saw somewhere that it has online play as well. That would be fun
What I really want to see is a Bleach game for PS3
Plenty to pick from this week, anything for you? Cough Cough, square where is advent children on Blu-ray?
* Shinobi: Special Edition (FUNimation Entertainment)
* Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (20th Century Fox)
* Untraceable (Sony Pictures)
* Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (20th Century Fox)
* Mrs. Doubtfire (20th Century Fox)
* Youth Without Youth (Sony Pictures)
* Blue Man Group: How to Be a Megastar Live! (Rhino Music)
* Epic Conditions: The Weather Channel (Warren Miller Entertainment)
* The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe (Disney)
I really like interactive environments, and the ways you can use fire as a weapon. The weapon inventory is great too. Just open your coat jacket to see what you have, very cool.
