PSN Games Released Globally Soon?

Sony is working on a process of approving PSN games for America, Europe and Japan at once. This would great. No more delayed PSN games if this works out. Hopefully this also means more PSN games coming down the line since it will be easier for developers to get there game out to the masses.

LittleBigDelayedPlanet

As you may have heard LittleBigPlanet has been slightly delayed. For North America it’s delayed about a week. Europe should get it on Oct 31st. But a lot of people have the game already. So why not just let the game ship on schedule and patch it?

During the review process prior to the release of LittleBigPlanet, it has been brought to our attention that one of the background music tracks licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur’an. We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologize for any offense that this may have caused.

We will begin shipping LittleBigPlanet to retail in North America the week of October 27th. Sorry for the delay, and rest assured, we are doing everything we can to get LittleBigPlanet to you as soon as possible.

This is the message that caused it all.

Fancast Impressions

I recently came across a website called Fancast. I try to find websites that I can view TV episodes because I don’t have cable, and I’m not always around to record the show either. So I go to the internet for my TV shows a lot.

Fancast.com has TV shows and movies with over 5,000 free streaming current and classic episodes to choose from. Full episodes include favorites like American Dad, Family Guy, The Colbert Report, The Simpons, Weeds, Heroes, Grey’s Anatomy, the series premiere of My Own Worst Enemy with Christian Slater, and It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

Fancast’s new “notify me” tool allows users set email preferences, including reminders for when a new episode of their favorite show is on Fancast or on linear TV. Which could be very handy.

They seem to have the most recent episodes of current seasons, but past seasons are off and on in there availability. It is SD quality, it’s a little pixelated but still very watchable.

As with any free site there are ads which pop up, however they aren’t to long. The show up 3 times during a standard tv show length, just think of it as a very quick commercial break.

You can embed the videos as well, check out this Simpsons Episode:

So it’s nice to use to catch up on the latest episode you’ve missed. But past seasons may or may not be there. But check out the link below to see if the tv / movies you like are on this website and let me know what you think!
