SlySpyder - Reviews for everything, yes I mean EVERYTHING!

SlySpyder

My vision for SlySpyder.com is to have reviews for everything. I noticed that review sites usually concentrate on a certain area, but what if you want to look for a different review? That’s right, go to another website. This site will have everything you need over time.

But I can not do this alone, I need you help to add reviews and suggest new categories that I don’t have listed in the directory. So join now and start adding stuff! But I will NEVER sell your e-mail for any reason whatsoever. I hate spam as much as the next guy.

You can also earn points for participating in this website. Who knows what you’ll be able to use these points for in the future ;) Details are below:

* 20 Points = Creating a account
* 15 Points = Submitting a new item
* 10 Points = Reviewing a existing item
* 3 Points = Inviting someone to visit the site with the “Invite Others” link
* 20 Points = When someone you invite successfully joins
* 25% = Referral Points (Allows referres to get bonus points percentage points for all user points awarded to their referrees)

Yellow Dog Linux updated to v6.1

I actually don’t have Linux on my PS3 anymore, but next year I’d like to upgrade my hard drive again to a 300 GB or so and put Linux back on. While I had Linux (Ubuntu actually) I didn’t use it much. But lately I wish I did have it just for general web browsing and chatting when the wife is using the other PC. Because the PS3 web browser still needs work. Sony just put Firefox on it and call it good.

I’m not sure if I’ll go with Yellow Dog Linux or Ubuntu. Ubuntu offers more support than Yellow Dog Linux. But YDL is made specifically for the PS3. Anyway here are the primary updates to YDL, and it’s now available for download.

“For end users, Yellow Dog Linux v6.1 offers an updated Firefox and OpenOffice.org, a vastly improved graphical wireless configuration tool, and the introduction of ps3vram functionality which enables use of PS3 video RAM for temporary storage or swap.”

Home Beta 1.0 Live

If you live in the U.S. and download the official Home theme or you purchased a annual Qore membership before October 29th. Check your e-mail for a invite they are being sent now. For details on the 1.0 update check out this link.

I like the updates, the clubhouse is a great idea. The virtual PSP being axed is fine, it didn’t need to be there really. I see the reason for it, but not the best way to navigate menus within home.

So let us know if you get into home and we’ll have to meet up in Home :)

PlayStation Network Users Matches Xbox LIVE

Sony announced that there are 14 millions users on the PlayStation Network, which matches the number announced for Xbox LIVE at the Tokyo Game Show recently. Granted, that includes multiple PSN accounts on a console. I myself have 4 total (accounts for North America, Europe, Japan, and Asia). But I only buy stuff off the North American store.

Because the PlayStation Network is free. People are more opt to try it out that way, and it’s a excellent selling point. It still needs some work, but it’s a great service for free.

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm - Video Review

Check it out below, the animation in this game is top notch. You could probably use this to animate the actual series it looks that good. I think I saw somewhere that it covers Episode 1 - 133 or so, basically when the massive filler episodes started. The demos plays pretty well. The game comes out this week if you interested.

.. Still waiting for my Bleach PS3 game ;)
