Video Games Live

Went to Video Games Live on Saturday. It’s basically video game music orchestrated with full choir as well.

They had a costume contest, some great people showed up! See all the photos here.

It was fun. The concert started with the MGS Codec noise and solid snake talking to the crowd over speaker. Then they did MGS music, while the music was playing a guy came out in a box, and a soldier. Then the lights went off and then the soldier got a ! displayed over his head, and it looks perfect, lol

At one point a guy on stage said “People think video games make people violent” - And somebody yelled really loud in the audience “KILL HIM” lol

The finale was “Halo music” meh. But luckily they ended with a encore of Final Fantasy 7 - One Winged Angel :)

Killzone 2 Website Merges with the PlayStation Network

http://www.killzone.com/killzone/news.jspa

I linked mine just in case. Maybe this is gearing up for a Beta of Killzone? If you don’t have a account just create one and when you click on the activation link you’ll have the option to link with your PSN account. Just login to your PSN account and your done.

Hopefully the North American PlayStation Forums link with the PSN like Europe is doing soon. I remember on one of the Home videos, Phil Harrison showed us a quick personal Home web page. I would assume this would be linked to your PSN account. Maybe all the PSN linking is prep work for what’s coming in the next couple months?

www.killzone.com now connects up to your PSN account as of just now

Wow, that looks very fun :) Hopefully we’ll see some actual game play soon.

Some official info on the game at last. It’s based on a tropical island, huge variety in environmental hazards, has monster trucks, and four-player split-screen mode. The game is out in fall.

Video: Burnout Paradise DLC Coming Soon

The first video shows a bridge leading to a new area on the map I assume. Plus there is a new car called “Dust Storm”. I’ll probably pick this up when it’s out. I’ve really enjoyed Burnout Paradise so far. But I still miss the crash mode.

Where we’re going, we don’t need roads

Rumor: PlayStation Store Redesign

There is rumor going around that the PS Store will be redesigned in April, and have the same look and feel as the Singstar store. Check out the video below for the Singstar store.

I really love the look of that store, the sooner the PS Store losses the web interface and switches to the PS3 OS the better. The current PS Store is honestly boring to look at and browse. But at least it has some great content from time to time. Also rumored is the long awaited video downloads. This will just be for North America for now. No concrete details from Sony on any of this yet though.

Rumored PSN Store redesign to include video downloads?
